3Unter den solistischen Beiträgen sind an erster Stelle die wortlosen Koloraturen Alexandra Büchels als blinde Poetin im zweiten Akt zu erwähnen. Rhythmisch und vor allem von der Lage her – die Sängerin dieser Partie hat mit geschlossenem Mund in der dreigestrichenen Oktave zu singen – ist dieser Abschnitt wahrhaft akrobatisch und der einzige Szenenbeifall des Abends war von daher hochverdient.

He is nuanced and sufficient in his presence to seriously manage to breathe life into the demanding role.
