Biografie
Alexia Macbeth is a French-British mezzo-soprano. She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2012 and from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 2013. During her time in England, she worked with companies such as British Youth Opera, Opera Holland Park, Mid-Wales Opera and Opera Erratica. She was selected for various masterclasses, in particular with Sarah Connolly and Graham Johnson. Back in France, during the 2016-2017 season, she sung the main role in a contemporary opera, Forge!, at the Rheims opera house, Rosina for le bus opera scheme of the Massy opera house and joined the Opera Fuoco young artist program created and directed by David Stern for whom she sung the alto solo in Bach Cantata BWV12 at the Paris Philharmonic. This season, she made her debut in Germa
