Bryan Boyce

The American bass-baritone Bryan Boyce studied singing at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Further studies followed at renowned opera studios such as Minnesota Opera, Glimmerglass Opera in New York and Central City Opera in Colorado. Bryan Boyce began his opera career in the USA at the Minnesota Opera and as a member of the Tony Award-winning Theater de la Jeune Lune. After his first permanent engagement in Germany at the Landestheater Detmold, he was a member of the ensemble at the Nationaltheater Mannheim from 2011 to 2014 and at the Mainfranken Theater Würzburg from 2014 to 2018. He has also made guest appearances at houses such as the Hanover State Opera, the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin and the State Theater in Braunschweig. In 2021 he made his debut as Scarpia
