Bucharest, RomaniaBaritone Catalin Toropoc is the soloist of the National Opera House Bucharest since 2013. He made his debut with the company with the role Leporello in "Don Giovanni" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In may 2013 he made his debut in "Tannhauser" with the role Wolfran von Eschenbach under the baton of Cristian Mandeal. Following that year he debuted in the role Marcello in "La Boheme" G.Puccini. In the spring of 2015 he was chosen to sing the role of Ford in the acclaimed new production of "Falstaff" - G. Verdi, directed by Graham Vick and conducted by Guillermo Garcia Calvo. In the mean time he worked with several important opera houses in Romania, such as National Opera and Ballet Theater "Oleg Danovski" Constanta, National Opera Craiova, Opera Galati, Bacau National Philarmonic.
