Irena Hadzi Dordevic

Irena Hadzi Dordevic is a Serbian-born artist and scenic designer. After earning a BA in Theater and Film Scenography from The Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, Irena moved to the United States to pursue MFA in Stage Design at Northwestern University which she received in January 2021. As a designer, she is dedicated to telling stories and exploring different ways of representing and finding characters’ reality through visual language. Her recent design work includes scenic design for Julius Caesar ( Wirtz Center for Performing Arts ) and Art Direction for Sand Dollar Cove ( Hallmark, Production Design by Shane Meador, directed by Fred Gerber).
