Jeannette Wernecke

Jeannette Wernecke has sung nearly all important roles of the lyric coloratura repertoire on stage in the last 12 years: Lulu, Zerbinetta, Königin der Nacht, Cunegonde, Blonde, Adina, Olympia , Fiakermilli, Ännchen, Musetta. She has a strong affinity for demanding contemporary music: The magazine "Opernwelt" nominated her as "Best young singer 2004" for her interpretation of the main female part in the German Premiere of Friedrich Cerha's "Der Riese vom Steinfeld"  at Theater Krefeld. Last season Jeannette Wernecke jumped in the main part of the modern opera "Geschichten aus dem Wienerwald" by HK Gruber only 3 weeks before  rehearsings started at Theater Hagen and came thoroughly and rhythmically precisely studied to the first rehearsal, which reflects her ability of very quick learning.
