Bettina Schweiger

Soprano Bettina Schweiger was born in Linz (Austria) and started her music education at the Anton Bruckner University. She graduated with Distinction from the Mozarteum Salzburg in 2012 (Prof. Barbara Bonney), and finished her master’s degree at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna in October 2015. During this period she was also accepted into the renowned Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia (USA). Bettina Schweiger has worked with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Sir Thomas Allen, Angelika Kirchschlager, conductors including Ivor Bolton and Sascha Goetzel and performed Mimi in “La Bohéme”, Rosalinde in “Die Fledermaus”, Donna Elvira in “Don Giovanni”, First and Second Lady in „Magic Flute” and Agathe in “Der Freischütz”.
