Michael Müller-Kasztelan

Tenor Michael Kasztelan, after first training to be a horn player, studied opera and concert singing at the SAAR CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC. After this, he completed his studies at the prestigious EASTMAN SCHOOL OF MUSIC, New York, USA.His teachers include Ks. BRIGITTE FASSBAENDER, MARGREET HONIG and ALBERT DOHMEN. Whilst still a student, he was engaged by the SAARLAENDISCHE STAATSTHEATER and was Visiting Artist at MIT BOSTON. He sang the role of Alfred Hersland in the World Premiere of the opera The Making of Americans at the WALKER ART CENTER, Minneapolis. This led to further engagements at the Concert Halls of SHENZHEN and BEJING, the MUNICH BIENNALE, the STAATSTHEATER OLDENBURG, the LUEBECK, ROSTOCK, KOBLENZ and BREMERHAVEN opera houses, the ZWINGENBERG Opera Festival, MERZIG Tent Opera and
