Born and raised in Naples, Michele Cerullo is deeply rooted in the city’s rich cultural heritage while at the same time representing a new generation of opera singers. Always passionate about classical music, Michele began to develop his love for opera by listening to recordings of the great tenors of the past. He embarked on his musical journey at a very young age studying with his father, a renowned Neapolitan pianist. The young tenor received his formal vocal and interpretative training with Luigi Giordano Orsini and subsequently pursued specialization courses under the guidance of mezzo-soprano Luciano d’Intino in Bologna.
