Alcina by Georg Friedrich Handel is one of the most beautiful baroque operas. Divine music and a poetic plot inspired director Georgy Isahakyan and conductor Alevtina Ioffe to stage this masterpiece as a special performance for the most extraordinary audience - expectant mothers.

In the middle of the ocean, the island of the sorceress Alcina is hidden. Any traveler who gets here, she turns into stones, trees, animals and flowers. And only the knight Ruggiero manages to avoid this fate. The great sorceress falls in love with him. The abandoned bride of Ruggiero Bradamante rushes in search of him.

A series of love obsessions, jealousy, resentment, vows and forgiveness - bizarre plot twists unfold on the stage, sound delicious, perfect music.

Посреди океана скрыт остров волшебницы Альцины. Любого путника, попавшего сюда, она превращает в камни, деревья, животных и цветы. И только рыцарю Руджеро удается избежать этой участи. Великая волшебница влюбляется в него. Покинутая невеста Руджеро Брадаманта бросается на его поиски.

Череда любовных наваждений, ревность, обиды, клятвы и прощения — причудливые повороты сюжета разворачиваются на сцене, звучат восхитительной, идеальной музыкой.
