The focus of the program with music by and for Handel's orchestra colleagues are arias and cantatas with impressive obbligato parts, written for the oboist Giuseppe Sammartini, the cellist Andrea Caporale and the Concerto grosso op. 6 No. 12, which features extensive solos for violin and cello , composed in October 1739. There are also vocal and orchestral works by Giuseppe Sammartini, Pietro Castrucci and Francesco Barsanti. Audience favorite Sophie Rennert will perform the vocal works with her crystal-clear mezzo-soprano. She is supported by the ensemble Le Musiche Nove conducted by Claudio Osele, who already delighted the Innsbruck audience in 2018 with the performance of Hasse's "Semele".
