Insula orchestra débute cette nouvelle saison en célébrant l’un de ses auteurs fétiches : Ludwig van Beethoven. Son unique Concerto pour violon, virtuose et expressif, est interprété par l’archet sensible d’Alexandra Conunova sous la direction de Laurence Equilbey qui s’attaque aussi à la Troisième symphonie dite « héroïque » : une œuvre grandiose servie pour l’occasion par un orchestre à double effectif, comme au temps de Beethoven !

Insula orchestra opens this new season by celebrating one of its favourite composers: Ludwig van Beethoven. His sole violin concerto, a virtuosic and expressive piece, will be interpreted by the sensitive bow of Alexandra Conunova and conducted by Laurence Equilbey. She will also take on the challenge of his Third Symphony, “Eroica”: a grandiose work performed, for the occasion, by a double-strength orchestra, as in Beethoven’s time!
