Hungarian mezzo-soprano Katalin Károlyi returns for György Ligeti’s With Pipes, Drums, Fiddles—his final work inspired by the fanciful poems by Sándor Weöres. Hammers is a feverish mix of solo flute and percussion, while John Cage experiments with unusual instruments to create a metallic soundscape.
