Brahms, Liszt, Dvořák, Strauss… Celebrate the New Year with the orchestra of the Opéra de Reims in a program dedicated to romantic composers from Vienna, Budapest and Prague.

Under the baton of Yann Molénat, the Viennese spirit will be particularly honored through great arias taken from operettas such as Giuditta by Franz Lehár and La Chauve-Souris by Johann Strauss, interpreted by the soprano Hadhoum Tunc, but also whirling dances, from the sumptuous Valse de Méphisto by Liszt to the famous Beau Danuble bleu .

Finally, the orchestra will pay homage to powerful symphonic pages of which the finale of Dvořák's 9th Symphony  , known as "from the New World", will be the fireworks, thus opening this New Year's Eve evening towards a future full of hope, music and joy.

Sous la baguette de Yann Molénat, l’esprit viennois sera particulièrement à l’honneur à travers de grands airs extraits d’opérettes telles Giuditta de Franz Lehár et La Chauve-Souris de Johann Strauss, interprétés par la soprano Hadhoum Tunc, mais aussi des danses tourbillonnantes, de la somptueuse Valse de Méphisto de Liszt au célébrissime Beau Danuble bleu.

Enfin l’orchestre rendra hommage à des pages symphoniques puissantes dont le final de la 9e Symphonie de Dvořák, dite « du Nouveau Monde », sera le feu d’artifice, ouvrant ainsi cette soirée du réveillon vers un futur plein d’espérance, de musique et de joie.
