Zum ersten Mal in ihrer über 50jährigen Geschichte präsentieren die Seefestspiele Möbisch Franz Lehàrs Operette "Der Zarewitsch". Die Geschichte vom Zarewitsch und seiner nicht standesgemäßen Liebe besticht durch eine gelungene Mischung von russischem Lokalkolorit und neapolitanischer Lebensfreude. Musikalische Ohrwürmer wie das "Wolgalied" und Sonjas Sehnsuchtslied "Einer wird kommen" lassen die Herzen jedes Operettenfans höher schlagen. Den jungen Zarewitsch verkörpert der rumänische Tenor Tiberius Simu und in die Rolle seiner Geliebten Sonja schlüpft Alexandra Reinprecht von der Wiener Staatsoper. Intendant Harald Serafin ist als russischer Großfürst auch 2010 wieder auf der Seebühne zu erleben.

For the first time in its more than 50-year history, the Möbisch Lake Festival is presenting Franz Lehàr's operetta "The Tsarevich". The story of the tsarevitch and his unsuitable love captivates with a successful mixture of Russian local color and Neapolitan joie de vivre. Musical catchy tunes like the "Volgalied" and Sonja's longing song "One will come" make the hearts of every operetta fan beat faster. The young Tsarevich is embodied by the Romanian tenor Tiberius Simu and Alexandra Reinprecht from the Vienna State Opera slips into the role of his lover Sonja. Artistic director Harald Serafin can be seen again in 2010 as the Russian Grand Duke on the lake stage.
