"Don Giovanni" is an opera whose music was composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart to a libretto written in Italian by Lorenzo da Ponte. The absolute premiere of the opera took place in Prague, at the "Ständetheater", on October 29, 1787, under the musical direction of the composer.
