A new legend is born in 2022
4 hours non-stop. There is a line but no story. The lyrics are only "numbers" and "doremi". Music and dance that are repeated many times, and a unique groove feeling that is born from it. The stage space that spreads out in front of you slowly changes.
The avant-garde opera "Einstein on the Beach" , in which the genius director Robert Wilson and the master of minimal music Philip Glass tried to poetically interpret the scientist Einstein, stunned the audience at its premiere in 1976. It became known to the world as a masterpiece that changed the concept of opera.
It has been 46 years since then. In collaboration with Toshihide from various fields, including music, dance, and theater, we will challenge the performance of this legendary work in Japan for the first time in 30 years, and the first new production in Japan. In the fall of 2022, a new legend begins.
