This year's closing program is a hymn to peace and nature. Ifukube Akira's "Dozokuteki Trinity", which is said to have been written in Akkeshi, is a chamber music work by 14 musicians that depicts the landscape of the Ainu rooted in the land of Hokkaido. Ifukube, who was born in Kushiro City, has interacted with the Ainu people, and has created many works that have a fundamental sense of awe toward nature, including the "Godzilla" series. He is a very important composer for Sakkyo. The second song is Megumi Ito, a piano who has a history of performing with Hirokami and Sakkyo. I am determined to deliver a “dream-like” and “opera-like” performance of Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20. And the music of appreciation for nature, "Denen". It will be a performance that invites listeners to the heights of religious music, as if praying for peace after the storm has passed.

今年度を締めくくるプログラムに流れるのは平和と自然への賛歌―。厚岸で書かれたという「土俗的三連画」は、伊福部昭が北海道の大地に根差すアイヌの風景を描いた、14人の奏者による室内楽的作品です。釧路市に生まれた伊福部はアイヌの人々との交流もあり、『ゴジラ』シリーズをはじめ、根底に自然への畏怖を感じる作品を多く作り上げました。札響にとっても大変重要な作曲家です。2曲目にはこれまでも広上・札響と共演歴のあるピアノ 伊藤恵。モーツァルトのピアノ協奏曲第20番で“夢のような”、“オペラのような”演奏を届けたいと意気込みます。そして自然への感謝の音楽「田園」。嵐が去ったあとの平和を祈るかのような宗教音楽の高みへと、聴き手を誘う演奏になることでしょう。
