Ibn-Hakia Excerpts from the opera

Iolanta is Tchaikovsky's last opera. Researchers of his work call this opera a new word in their genre. Behind the seeming simplicity and lightness of "Iolanthe" is its significance and depth. This work opened a new stage in the development of opera art in the world. 

In the history of the Krasnodar Musical Theatre, this is the second reference to the opera  Iolanthe , the first  production under the title King Rene's Daughter was staged by Roman Viktyuk in 2003.  

In the center of the plot is a blind girl, from whom her blindness is hidden. In the end, she learns the truth, gains faith and begins to see clearly. The idea of ​​this opera is that real vision, the ability to see the world around, lies in our heart. Visually, Iolanta is a fairytale story with all the necessary attributes: a princess in flowers, knights, and a wonderful happy ending. 

The premiere took place on October 22, 2022.

«Иоланта» — последняя опера Чайковского. Исследователи его творчества называют эту оперу новым словом в своём жанре. За кажущейся простотой и лёгкостью «Иоланты» стоит её значимость и глубина. Это произведение открыло новую ступень в развитии оперного искусства в мире. 

В истории Краснодарского музыкального театра это второе обращение к опере «Иоланта», первую постановку под названием «Дочь короля Рене» осуществил Роман Виктюк в 2003 году. 

В центре сюжета слепая девушка, от которой скрывают её слепоту. В конце концов она узнаёт правду, обретает веру и прозревает. Идея этой оперы в том, что настоящее зрение, возможность видеть мир вокруг, кроется в нашем сердце. Визуально «Иоланта» — это сказочная история со всеми необходимыми атрибутами: принцессой в цветах, рыцарями и чудесным счастливым финалом. 

Премьера состоялась 22 октября 2022 года.
