Alongside our epic Ring cycle in 2024, we will be bringing you a new production of Puccini's ever-popular opera La bohème.

Based on Henri Murger's Scènes de la vie de bohème, Puccini's La bohème is a timeless masterpiece of unforgettable music, that tells of love, friendship and death. 

Our 2024 production will be conducted by acclaimed conductor Alice Farnham and directed by movement specialist Sarah Fahie. Featuring outstanding international singers in the lead roles, our La bohème will showcase Longborough Emerging Artists in the roles of Musetta, Schaunard, Colline, Benoît and Alcindoro, and also features the Longborough Festival Chorus and Youth Chorus.
