An orphaned, fallen little girl, an innocent stepmother, two cruel stepbrothers; and pigeons, peas and lentils, abandoned shoes; finally, joy, happiness, and princely justice: this is the Grim brothers ’classic Cinderella in a nutshell - one of the most popular pieces in the world’s fairy tale literature that everyone thinks is known.

Adaptation of Dóra Gimesi in the 19th century. He places the base work in 19th century England and enriches it with new colors: here Cinderella is a boyishly insane, free-spirited teenager, and the stepmother is a faithful guardian of an old, classical world order - it is urgent that the two radically opposite worldviews clash. It slams together, causing a lot of crying and laughter, so the performance of the National Theater of Miskolc can tell the story of Cinderella again in a sensitive, yet humorous, widescreen production.
