The portrait of an Iranian psychoanalyst who is wrongly imprisoned and her struggle for release takes on almost mythical proportions.

Mitra Kadivar lives and works in Tehran, where she is the only psychoanalyst who has a practice. However, due to a trumped-up complaint from her neighbors, she is interned against her will and treated in a psychiatric clinic. Her call for help does not go unheard and the international community is activated through Jacques-Alain Miller in Paris. An intense dialogue with Mitra - and later with her students - eventually leads to the release. Before the details of the story, Jorge León became fascinated by the almost ancient mythical proportions that Mitra's battle takes. A dramatic perspective captured in a hybrid performance.

Mitra Kadivar, woont en werkt in Teheran, waar ze als enige psychoanalyticus een praktijk heeft. Door een verzonnen klacht van haar buren wordt ze echter tegen haar wil geïnterneerd en behandeld in een psychiatrische kliniek. Haar roep om hulp blijft niet ongehoord en via Jacques-Alain Miller in Parijs wordt de internationale gemeenschap geactiveerd. Een intense dialoog met Mitra - en later met haar studenten - zorgt uiteindelijk voor de vrijlating. Eerder nog dan de details van het verhaal raakte Jorge León gefascineerd door de bijna antiek mythische proporties die Mitra’s strijd aanneemt. Een dramatisch perspectief gevat in een hybride voorstelling.
