Am längsten Tag des Jahres lädt die Styriarte ins Schloss Eggenberg. Alles dreht sich um den Vollmond, der am Ende des Abends am Grazer Nachthimmel erscheinen wird. Das Publikum wandert durch den Schlosspark, um Nachtmusiken von Mozart, Glenn Miller und Tárrega zu hören, bis sich alle im Planetensaal treffen zu den schönsten Mondliedern der Romantik. Marie-Claude Chappuis, unvergessen als Idamante in Harnoncourts Grazer „Idomeneo“, wird von Florian Birsak am silbrigen Hammerflügel begleitet.

The Styriarte invites you to Eggenberg Palace on the longest day of the year. The performance centres around the full moon, which will appear in the night sky over Graz at the end of the evening. The audience strolls through the palace gardens to listen to night music by Mozart, Glenn Miller and Tárrega before coming together in the Planet Hall for the most beautiful moon Lieder of the Romantic era. Marie-Claude Chappuis, who gave an unforgettable performance as Idamante in Harnoncourt‘s Idomeneo in Graz, is accompanied by the silvery tones of the fortepiano, played by Florian Birsak.
