Die NDR Radiophilharmonie widmet sich Béla Bartók: mit der Aufführung von Orchesterwerken aus drei unterschiedlichen Schaffensphasen.

"Ich habe Hunderte von Komponisten kennengelernt", schrieb Aaron Copland kurz nach dem Tod Béla Bartóks, "aber ich denke nicht, dass auch nur einer von ihnen mit Bartók vergleichbar wäre." Diesem "unvergleichbaren" Musiker widmet sich die NDR Radiophilharmonie beim Bartók-Festival des NDR in der Elbphilharmonie mit der Aufführung von Orchesterwerken aus drei unterschiedlichen Schaffensphasen. Die Gesamtleitung hat Stanislav Kochanovsky, Solist ist der Geiger Valeriy Sokolov.

The NDR Radio Philharmonic is dedicated to Béla Bartók: with the performance of orchestral works from three different creative phases.

"I have met hundreds of composers," Aaron Copland wrote shortly after Béla Bartók's death, "but I don't think that any of them can be compared to Bartók." The NDR Radiophilharmonie is dedicating itself to this "incomparable" musician at the NDR Bartók Festival in the Elbphilharmonie with the performance of orchestral works from three different creative phases. The overall direction is in the hands of Stanislav Kochanovsky, the soloist is the violinist Valeriy Sokolov.
