The passion story is given a modern-day relevance with imagery from the 21st century of wars and conflicts across the world, alongside music from Hildegard of Bingen, via J S Bach, Handel and Mendelssohn, to present day works by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sir James Macmillan and Judith Bingham.
