Sønderjylland's Symphony Orchestra forms an important part of the region's musical talent development. In this connection, the orchestra collaborates every year with MGK-Syd's (Musikalsk GrundKursus) classical students on a workshop and an internship in the Concert Hall Alsion, including orchestra rehearsals, teaching with the orchestra's musicians as mentors and playing together in small and large groups. The course ends with the MGK students taking part in a concert together with the orchestra's permanent musicians, which is always a guarantee of an energetic and festive closing concert.
