Technology and modern staging serve as the perfect frame for this story of an industry titan. Jobs’ story is operatic in scope and could have easily found its roots in Greek tragedy as it was played out in Silicon Valley.

The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs had its world premiere in 2017 at Santa Fe Opera and went on to win the 2019 Grammy for Best Opera Recording. 

This Canadian premiere is a new groundbreaking co-production of Calgary Opera, Austin Opera, Atlanta Opera, and Lyric Opera of Kansas City.
