“There I stand now, poor fool I, and am just as clever as before!” Goethe's Faust came to this realization in his famous opening monologue, when he admitted that even the greatest world knowledge of a polymath had reached its limits. He enters into a pact with the devil and devotes himself entirely to black magic. To this day, the world of occultism and fantasy stories enjoys great attraction: This is how global successes like Harry Potter , The Lord of the Rings or Games of Thrones came about . All of these tales are based on myths with legendary protagonists and events that have fulfilled the function of a story told together for centuries.
