She completed her first degree at the Korea National University of Arts, before going on to study for her Masters in Opera and Lied at the Stuttgart Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst. She is a multiple prize-winner in international competitions, including second prize at the Montserrat Caballé International Singing Competition in 2021, special prizes for for opera and song at the DEBUT Singing Competition 2022 and the Mozart Prize at the Wilhelm Stenhammar International Music Competition. She has already sung many roles in opera, including Zerlina Don Giovanni, Despina Così fan tutte and Anna Reich Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor. She has appeared at the Bregenz Festival as both Elvira L'italiana in Algeri and the Contessa
