Syracuse Opera’s “Cosi fan tutte” unwraps the down and dirty comedy packaged in Mozart’s 1790 two-act opera and sparkles with its lush, sensuous music. In an updated staging that puts the audience on Atlantic City’s Boardwalk, rather than in 18th century Naples, the local company takes a modern view of an age-old question: Will women, when they are seduced, remain loyal to their boyfriends?
