Se rollebesætning og besætningTenor Thomas Ruud was born in Oslo, Norway, and has been a regular guest of many of Europe's leading opera houses for more than two decades since his debut at the Norwegian National Opera in 1994. Although he established himself internationally as a lyric tenor, over the last decade he has taken on increasingly dramatic roles, both from the Italian and French spinto repertoire, such as Cavaradossi in Puccini's Tosca, Don Jose in Bizet's Carmen, Pollione in Bellini's Norma, Hoffmann in Offenbach's Les contes d'Hoffmann, begun to take on roles from the dramatic German repertoire. The current season marks his debut in the German drmatic Fach as Bacchus in Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos with the Nordnorsk Opera in Norway. Erik in Wagner's Der fliegende Holländer and the title role in Lohengrin
