After having completed his studies in piano and composition at the Conservatory "G. Donizetti" he studied with Aldo Ciccolini and dedicated himself to concert activity, including debuting as a soloist with the orchestra of I Pomeriggi Musicali and expanding his chamber repertoire with members of the Berliner Philharmoniker. His interest in ancient instruments led him to specialize in Fortepiano at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, where under the guidance of Edoardo Torbianelli he obtained the Master of Arts in historical performance practice on period instruments.
