Praised for her expressive and elegant performances in the title roles of Roméo et Juliette in the Netherlands and Suor Angelica with Red River Lyric Opera, soprano Amy Harris is an American lyric soprano living in Berlin. Additional roles performed include Donna Anna in Don Giovanni (Greve, Italy), Mimì in La bohème (Verismo Opera, CA), Despina in Così Fan Tutte (Orvieto, Italy), Goodwife in Conrad Suza’s The Wise Women (Stanford University), Suor Angelica with the Vienna Summer Music Festival, Amica in Amelia al Ballo (Longy, MA), and as a cover, Micaëla in Carmen (Opera Noord-Holland-Noord). An avid promoter of chamber works and new music, Ms. Harris has performed several chamber music concerts, contemporary works by Daniel Pinkham, Lori Laitman and Thea Musgrave, and premiered works
