Biografi
André Baleiro is the winner of the Emmerich Smola “SWR Young Opera Stars” 2019 Award, the 17th International R. Schumann Competition, the 9th Rotary Foundation Singing Competition in Lisbon, as well as the Theodor Heuss – Kulturpreis in Schwetzingen and the Prize for “Most Promising Talent” at the prestigious DAS LIED competition in Heidelberg. His operatic highlights include TARQUINIUS in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia at Teatro São Carlos in Lisbon, FIGARO in Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia and KASPAR in the new opera Kaspar Hauser (Schubert/Wilgenbus) with the Kammeroper München, and DON PARMENIONE in Rossini’s L’occasione fa il ladro in Teatro Perez Galdos in Las Palmas.
