Im Duett mit König Philipp trumpft er mit durchgängig tadellos geführtem Stimmsitz, echter Klanggewalt und bemerkenswertem Stimmumfang. Er überzeugt sowohl mit seriöser Tiefe, als auch mit strahlkräftiger Höhe. Man darf freudig gespannt sein auf den Trierer Rosenkavalier, wo man in der Rolle des Ochs von Lerchenau mehr von diesem Sänger hören darf.
