Anna Kufta was born in Poland (Cracow) where she also completed vocal studies at the Academy of Music. She studied vocal performance at the Prayner Conservatory of Music, as well as attending courses in Opera performance. In 1999, she gave her first solo recital in the great hall of the Wieliczka Salt Mine, performing the song cycle “Chopin and his Love.” After participating in masterclasses in Cracow (Prof. Ryszard Karczykowski), Vienna (Univ.-Prof. Mag. Yuly Khomenko) und Radziejowice (Prof. Dr. Teresa Żylis-Gara) Anna performed in numerous church concerts with chamber orchestra in Krakow. In 2003 she appeared as a choir soloist in "A Night in Venice" by Johann Strauss at the Vienna Chamber Opera. Subsequently Anna sang mezzo-soprano solo in the world premiere of M. Hazod's "Misa Flam
