After studying economics, he studied with Leni Neuenschwander in Mannheim, Dennis Hall in Bern and Antoinette Faës in Fribourg. Master classes with Paolo Montarsolo at the Renata Scotto Opera Academy, with Ks. Waltraud Meier and Evgenji Nesterenko as well as further training in opera performance rounded off his education. In 2004 he won the Senzaltro Foundation Prize for the Promotion of Young Swiss Opera Singers. Daniel Reumiller made his opera stage debut in 2003 as Betto di Signa in Puccini's "Gianni Schicchi" at the Opéra Fribourg. Since then he has played numerous important roles, including Sarastro (Mozart, "The Magic Flute"), Osmin (Mozart, "The Abduction from the Seraglio"), Leporello and Komtur (Mozart, "D
