Born in Venice, Italy, Marco Comin is considered one of the most exciting and versatile conductors of the last generations. He is not only a sought after concert and opera conductor but also a highly appreciated baroque specialist. His comunicative passion and eloquent naturalness blend into engaging, sensitive and refined interpretations. In his hometown Comin studied piano and composition at the Conservatorio di Musica “B. Marcello” as well as history at the Ca’ Foscari University. He then moved to Berlin to study orchestra conducting at the Hochschule für Musik “Hans Eisler” and he graduated in 2005. In the same year Marco Comin was appointed second Kapellmeister at the Deutsches Nationatheater Weimar where he celebrated his first successes. Only three years later he became first Kapell
