Cagliari, ItalyMarco Filibeck was born in Rome in 1957. He began his career as a live console operator and lighting designer for live shows. Between 1979 and 1984, Marco worked in over 200 concerts for the now-rockstar Vasco Rossi. Other gigs included Italian top selling singers Loredana Bertè ("E la luna bussò" tour, 1979) and Enzo Jannacci ("Ci vuole orecchio" tour, 1981). In 1983, Marco completed a training program for light technicians at Bologna's Teatro Comunale. Two years later, he's hired at Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Since 1996 Marco Filibeck has been a lighting designer at Teatro alla Scala, and in 2009, he became the Head of the Lighting Department and Resident Lighting Designer. He retired from Teatro alla Scala in 2022. During his career, Marco has worked with the most important Italian
