He started taking lessons in classical singing in Music High-School of Leevi Madetoja 1989 under tuition of finnish tenor Aki Alamikkotervo. Schroderus continued his studies privately aside his day work during years 1995-2000 with other local vocal teachers. After recommendation from his previous teachers, Schroderus met most prestigious finnish ”the teacher of tenors”, Mr. Esko Jurvelin. Jurvelin started teaching Schroderus in the beginning of 2001. Under the tuition of Mr. Jurvelin Schroderus took part in some local competitions and won his first operetta song-contest in 2001, arranged by (then) Music Theatre of City of Petroskoi, Russian Federation. In the year 2003 Schroderus took part in the Lohja International
