Ikusi antzezle eta ekipoaBjørn Waag studied singing, conducting, musicology and philosophy in Munich and Berlin. He was a master student of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. Permanent engagements took him to the Bremen Theatre, then to the Mannheim National Theatre, the Musiktheater im Revier, the German National Theatre in Weimar and the Basel Opera. In 2003, he became a professor at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel. He was in charge of a major subject class there, headed the vocal/song interpretation department, was the artistic director of the "Front Stage Basel" studio for music theatre, which he developed, and was the initiator and president of the LiedForumBasel e.V.. The baritone has made guest appearances at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, the Stuttgart State Theatre, the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, La Fenice in
