Without great singing actors you don’t have opera, and this young cast was phenomenal across the board. Each embodied their character with fervor. Vocally, they were superb — diction was clear, their conversations convincingly real.
Elizabeth Hanje is a senior at Interlochen Arts Academy, where she studies voice with John Bragle. She visited Studio A at Interlochen Public Radio with collaborative pianist Ya-Ju Chuang. She performed "O del mio amato ben" by Stefano Donaudy and Eduoard Lippe's song "How Do I Love Thee."
