Born in Karlsruhe, Eva-Maria Hofheinz studied singing at the State University of Music in Mannheim with Prof. Katharina Dau, where she received her diploma as a singing teacher, opera singer and concert singer with distinction. She received important musical impulses through master classes with Anna Reynolds, Kurt Widmer, Sylvia Greenberg, Klesie Kelly and Elisabeth Glauser. In 2001 she was a prizewinner at the Anneliese Rothenberger Competition on the island of Mainau. Appearances followed, including at the Ludwigsburg Festival, the Moonlight Festival in Zofingen, the Ascoli Piceno Festival in Italy, the Frankfurt Chamber Opera and the KKL Luzern.
