Joan Marie Dauber

Her love of Baroque music began at Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music, where she earned her B.M. in Voice Performance and sang in multiple ensembles during their yearly Bach Festivals. As a concert soloist, she has sung several large works, including Bach’s Mattäuspassion (Baroque Artists of Champaign-Urbana), Vivaldi’s Gloria, Schubert’s Mass in G Major, Mozart’s Coronation Mass, Rutter’s Mass of the Children (with Ravenswood Community Orchestra at St. Benedict Parish). In 2019 she performed her first major Baroque opera role when performing Handel's Alcina with the Chicago Vocal Arts Consortium.
