Skoða leikara og mannskapBass-baritone Joel Allison is a Canadian concert and opera singer and has garnered praise for his “rich, ringing tone” (Ludwig Van Toronto). A graduate of the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio, Joel is now established as a member of the ensemble at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Upcoming highlights with his home company include Leporello in Don Giovanni, Lord Sydney in Il Viaggio a Reims, and Vater in Hänsel und Gretel. Other regular roles in his repertoire with the house include Escamillo in Carmen, Biterolf in Tannhäuser, Ping in Turandot, Schaunard in La Bohème, and Donner in Das Rheingold, in which he was in the the live recording for Naxos DVD. In the 2023-2024 season, Joel returns to the Canadian Opera Company in the roles of Masetto in Don Giovanni, and the Forester in Janáček’
