Recent engagements include his successful debuts at the Daegu Opera House (South Korea) in Aida, at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein (Düsseldorf, Germany) in L’elisir d’amore as well as appearances at Minnesota Opera (Minneapolis/St.Paul, U.S.A) in Tosca, La Bohème and Don Pasquale. His performances of Puccini’s Il Trittico at the 15th Daegu International Opera Festival (Daegu, South Korea) were hailed with such enthusiasm that they earned him the Grand Prix, the highest recognition bestowed on an artist by the Festival.
