Since its establishment in 1992, Kitsap Opera has been dedicated to bringing opera to Bremerton and surrounding Kitsap Communities. Our founder, Leone Cottrell-Adkins, recognized the need for accessible opera experiences for families as well as a platform to provide Western Washington artists an additional platform for growth.

Our primary mission encompasses three aspects:

We Strive to showcase the exquisite artform within the community by collaborating with local performing arts organizations.
We actively engage in outreach programs with community schools, extending the beauty of opera to young minds.
We enthusiastically welcome and support emerging artists who are exploring the field, fostering their artistic journey within our organization.
