Mary Grace Abney made her first opera debut last year as a slave and
chorus member in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. Before opera, Mary Grace
has done musical theatre for over seven years. Some of her favorite
roles are Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes, Marmee in Little Women,
and Medda Larkin in Newsies. She is so excited to be playing Jack's
Mother in Into the Woods and would like to thank Dr. Trahan, Twyla
Robinson, and her voice professor, Dr. Rodriguez, for all their guidance!
