Olga Kharchenko

Winner of the 2nd prize at the Montreal International Music Montreal International Music Competition (MIMC, 2012), one of the 5 finalists of the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition (2011), scholarship holder of the Annie Sankey Fund's (2011), the Migros Kulturprozent (2010) and the Margrit Meister Stiftung (2008). Her voice grew up with Prof. Antonina Yakovlevna Kulieva (Odessa State Music Academy, Odessa, Ukraine); Prof. Jane Thorner-Mengedoht (ZHdK,Zurich,Switzerland) and Prof. Jose van Dam (Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth, Waterloo, Belgium). In April 2011 she debuts as Anna in Verdi's opera "Nabucco" at the Belgian Opera La Monnaie in Brussels. Than she debuts as Judith in Bartok's "Duke Bluebeard's Castle" at the Tonhalle Zurich.
