Danish Tenor, Per Jellum studies with Roberta Cunningham, Berlin and Neil Semer, NYC. He has worked with noted pianists, such as Margaret Singer, Andrej Hovrin, Jamison Livsey and Ulrich Stærk. Staged Operatic roles include Don José (Carmen) and the title roles of Parsifal by Wagner and Abu Hassan by Weber. His operatic debut was as Gastone in La Traviata and he has also sung Le Remendado in Carmen. Before transitioning into opera as a dramatic tenor, Per Jellum sang 15 major operetta roles at the Court Theatre in his native Copenhagen. Roles include Count Danilo (The Merry Widow), Eisenstein (Die Fledermaus), Count Zedlau (Vienna Blood) and three of the great Gilbert&Sullivan protagonists: Nanki-Poo (The Mikado), Captain Cochran (HMS Pinafore) and The Pirate King (Pirates of Penzan
